Case Overview
The case combines more frequently distributed skins with a smaller group of higher-rarity items. This structure creates a broad outcome distribution rather than a uniform item value profile. Evaluation should consider the number of items in each tier, the concentration of value in the upper tail, current liquidity for included skins, and whether demand is supported by established weapon popularity, finish recognition, condition, or other market attributes. A case with several liquid mid-tier items may have a different statistical profile from one whose aggregate value depends mainly on a few scarce outcomes.
Value and Risk Factors
Expected value is the probability-weighted average of all possible item outcomes and should be assessed independently from any single opening result. A higher theoretical EV does not remove variance: distributions with rare, high-value items can still produce many outcomes below the calculated average. Relevant factors include rarity probabilities, item pool quality, spread between lower and upper outcomes, resale liquidity, market depth, and demand stability. Changes in skin demand or trading conditions can alter estimated return even when the case composition remains unchanged.
